The vehicle cars include a school bus, two people cars, fire truck, tow truck, police car, taxi cab, rescue car, train engine, airplane, race car, tractor, and a tugboat. The set also includes several train set buildings: store, house, train station, school, fire department, and two trees! The track layout measures 24" x 38". Although this set is very extensive, it can be built upon at a later time, as you can add other track pieces, bridges, other train cars, and buildings... the possibilities are practically endless! This set is made in Vermont of New England rock maple, and the train set has a non-toxic finish with a run-resistant color stain which lets the wood grain show through. All NameTrain and track items are compatible with similar wooden track systems of other companies. Length and height dimensions sometimes vary between brand but that doesn't diminish their ability to interconnect and make really fun layouts!
